They play house for you?
That's already tons better than my old High School. They'd drop cheesy mainstream crap. |

Lol, play at my old high school and you'd prob get lots of cheers :)
More people into it, or at least not hatin' anyway. Most of our high-schoolparties are held at small clubs though :nervous: |

All my old skool would wanna hear about is crap urban music... *shudder*
And you wouldn't get boo'd, you'd get kids who think they are dj's coming up and trying to give you tips.. these are people that have a CDJ they got for christmas, a local electronics shop crossfader (single channel, just 2 gains and an xfader) and another CD player (just a normal CD player)
Had to endure one of these people's sets for 2 hours, it hurts. No concept of beatmatching or ever tempo matching for that matter, just mash this into that.. she'll be right. No idea of track selection, they were playing urban into cheesy commercial dance back to urban to cheesy trance back to urban... it just dosen't work.
Oh how I would love to show them how its actually done. |

Throw in Vengaboys - Kiss (Airscape Mix) actually my friend did what I told him to, he had the original on CD (his sister bought the album) and then had the mix on CDR cuz the vinyl is rare as ).. |
I got that, didn't know it was very rare....but what a class tune.
I got some older more popular tunes with vocals that I'm sure I could get people moving to, but if not I would make a CD with britney spears on it and it would play a 10 second clip of one of her tracks and would be set on repeat, plus I'd glue the drive shut, pop off all the buttons and glue the power cord to the wall. |

in america, the popular music is hip hop, pop, and rock. trance is definately underground, and the usual reaction is, the make the beat with their throats and laugh about it. or wtf is this ? change it to something we've heard a million times over the radio already.. |
