i definitely think that we need a new mod. not that NYTA is like COR and has a plethora of out of control threads...but we do of course have our junk that needs to be cleaned up. ian, nothing personal of course, but i feel it would be beneficial just to have an ACTIVE moderator to watch over things.
i think he will have to officially give up his position to swamper before anything else moves forward... |

i always take it easy.. im a weed smoker.. :) all i said was that sounds retarded to me.. i dont think this board needs more than 1 mod. and its natural for one to feel the need on one when the one thats assigned to do the job is never here or give a about it. youre opinion is valuable no doubt. im not factually saying what you said isnt cool. i simply do not agree with your logic thats all. but this thread is about that.. to give different ideas and views not to come up with a solution right away. so youre points been made. you want 2 mods. |

| Well look, the only way Ian is gonna not mod the section is if he doesnt want to do it any more. The threads have already been made A LONG TIME AGO, everyone made their points and we still dont have a new mod. So as things have been going in history, I say we just add another person cause it would be alot easier that way. |

That kinda true, although we did have a stickied thread for a LONG time which pretty much went absolutely no where. The latest attempt at it was pretty much like jumping head first into -25 degree water. Who knows maybe this will work, maybe not, but Im not getting my hopes up. |

I voted no. Why do we need another mod? I'm sure Ian checks in from time to time and if an issue needed to be addressed, he would take care of it. Jeez, people.. this is getting to an extreme level. We're all adults here, so let's try to handle ourselves like one. This is a forum to post on, not a military school.:rolleyes: It's beginning to get a little frustrating. Like Dani said, this was tried once before and nothing came out of it, so why bother beating a dead horse with a stick? |

| All I'm saying is that maybe we should all figure a way out to run this forum the way that suits the majority of us best. We don't need a mod. to tell us what we can and can't do. We are all capable of communicating to eachother and laying down a few ground rules that will aid in making everyone feel comfortable. Why would you want to give one person the power to delegate what goes on when you have a great majority of level-headed people to do the same thing. |

| Thats kinda like my opinion, I know Ian checks this neck of the woods occassionally, so instead of just kicking him out, just add a second mod that is more active and is here and reading everything that is going on as it is happening. |
