well i can accept goth dressing as compared to candy raver dressing....
its teh level of maturity u see from the way someone dresses....like cmon..it aint halloween or a masquerade to dress up like dragons.... nor is there need to have 50 bears dangling on ur trousers:nervous: |

your right, there is no need. There's also no need to wear necklaces, or rings, or hats, or bracelets, but people do it anyway. What there REALLY is no need to do is post a picture of people who seem "weird" to you and gawk at them, asking if what they're doing is right or wrong. did they hurt anyone with what they're wearing? no. So open your mind. |

meh... people do what they want.
as long as they're not hurting anybody. |

I think it's great. I mean come on, how large is the window whe you can be totally carefree and wear something like those two in green. It's sweet, it's innocent and i find it hard to believe that anyone actually has a problem with it.
I'm more averse to bare chested juiceheads oozing their machismo all over a crowd (read sweat) then some kids having fun, living in the moment in their 'halloween costum'. It's the free spirted nature of EDM that makes it such a great community to be a part off. Commenting on someone clothing, or how they look is just being petty, and in a way is the sort of attitude i'd expect from some going to a hip hop club to get some ass. |

Ok. Glad to know my views are held by the majority, although i'm skeptical as to which orfice you pulled that 98% out of. Truth is, i don't usually see too many candy ravers at the events i go to these days. More juiceheads and obnoxious wannabe thugs. So, if i do happen to see a few flamboyant characters who're really only expressing themselves, then all it really does is remind me that there are young hearts around me, people who remember what it's like to lose themselves in the music to a point where what others think of their colorful clothing becomes irrelevant. Or maybe, they just do it cause their E-tards, and lights and colors make em happy...who knows, who really cares.
No candy raver ever bumped me in line, and said, "Get the outta my way"...No kid with sparkles ever rubbed up against me, sliming my back with sweat...as far as i'm concerned i'd rather party with 50 tella-tubbies then 50 greasy, testosterone driven monkeys. |
