Ikon presents a night of classics: THE TUNNEL Reunion Party
Free admission before 12am with invite. email [email protected] for free admission on Jason Jollins list before 12 and/or Jason Jollins reduced ($20) thereafter.

***make sure you get there early 11'ish to take advantage of the free admission special as there will be a line by 11:30 to get into the club.
Ikon is a newly renovated club located in the old Exit building. The third floor is where the pink room and sky lounge (outdoor terrace) are located which make up an excellent atmosphere and vibe. The sound on the main floor is excellent and the new renovations make for an overall beautiful space. Looking forward to a great night!

tunnel was great!..then it turned to .. oh well
my most memorable time at tunnel: johnny vicious opening night... god damn... that was an insane party! i really thought tunnel would be revived with vicious being the new resident.. but i guess it didnt. |

well i did see sumdin tha advertised Tthe old TUNNEL venue as a new place to hold banquets and wutnot awhiles back...i was thinking that somehow...it WOULD b revived...
but mebbe its a good thing that it hasnt been revived yet...cuz so far...these born-again clubs (SPIRIT, AVALON etc) have yet to rise up to their predecessors....*shruggs* but im sure no one expected that to happen...as for whether IKON will b the club to thrive in old Exit's spot, well we'll just have to wait and see |

| i do too... even though all kinds of shady used to happen every time we went there. i just really liked the way the club was set up. always had a good time regardless. |

I lovvvvved the tunnel. Of course I loved the spot that opened up a few buildings up from it as well. What was the name of that club?

tunnel was how i grew up in the club scene... yes, it was very sketchy but that was part of its draw... i had some amazing and nondiscreet times there, but would never think to go to the reunion, because as you see there, I am almost embarassed at how many times i have heard those djs :)
as for the born again clubs, im not totally sure its the clubs' fault themselves. I really do think its the current breed of club patrons, and many posh nyc'ers are really more concerned with which place is cool or not.. Most clubbers are NO like TAs.. In New York is 90% guido now, god only knows how that happened.....
so whatever tho, the club scene is always one big cycle, and though we may not have some "weekly" club to hit every week, we do still get more than out fair share of great djs to come and play for us.
works out better in the end, because we stay healthier and less broke ;) |

I believe it began with a "T" as well......once caught those sasha and digweed guys there....
