| What, like how music piracy has existed for decades and had no demonstrable effect on the industry? |

even not considering its effects on the industry or lack thereof...the problem or the ability for people to pirate music has become a reality and cannot be changed... |

| Have you guys seen the episode of South Park when Kenny, Stan and Kyle get caught for piracy, and some detective takes them around to celebrities homes? Focking histerical. |

| talk about the fact that there is no real solution to it, only damage minimalisation - also bring into account that there are websites that are legitimising mp3s by buying the licence and selling the mp3 online eg msn |

i have a unrealistic solution. make users deaf.
if music cant be heard then it wont be pirated.
or make something better than music. |

| Have the music industry accept filesharing, and disseminate quality mp3's of artists, with a message at the end asking fans to buy his/her/their cd's if they respect the music and want to support it. |

that imo is a fair compromise
however ppl can just trim the vocals out...
but chimaira did that when promoting their first album, had a voice over halfway thorough the track saying it'll be out in july or something... |
