yeah, its a rough day here in bed......:D

actually i DID do something productive today... i met with a company i'm supposed to be "helping" with an IT "project" which after spending 3 hours in their assbackwards company office, found out they have no IT dept whatsoever, and they need about 200 things integrated, fixed, developed, whatever. and they want it all done in 6 months. so basically, i AM the IT dept.

i was exhausted just listening to the proposal... i dont think i'll fare well in the real world. i'm gonna go back to sleeping til 3, serving drinks, and making quick cash. screw the real world. i like being the person that gets the real world drunk after a hard day :haha:

lols since i do not know the background to all of this, i'd simply offer you this advise. It seems that you are on a contract IT job for a company that doesn't need anything high-end. Mainly alot of fine tuning and organization (which IT requires) Personally I'd contract the job for a LOAD of money, 6months could pay a nice 80k, hire an IT Architect to handle the majority of back end stuff...work ur tail off for 4-6months, get paid, and take a nice 1 month vacation! I have friends that are IT Consultants, thats what they do, bust their asses for 3-6months and then live the life...and to be honest, they are able to take week long vacations during their contracting period...go figure...

handle 2-5 small contract jobs u'll be making way over 100k a year...and who said we dont need IT?
