yeah, sure, but when l-vee ripped of xpander in mysteries of life, no one actuall cared because frankly mysteries of life was a great tune, but when you rip the same tune for the second time, then you really start to question stuff, i mean i like many of l-vee's productions, but this is just redicolous |

| not trying to sound rude but how do you guys hear xpander in this song? Is it because it follows the same structure or is it the melody. I keep listening to it over and over and I don't see how xpander fits :conf: . |

Same concept, same structure on the track and on the melodyline, that only differs on some notes. The melody grows in to and out of the track the same way as it does it Xpander, the groove is very similar too. It's simply a ripoff, really poor. L-Vee is a fool, let's listen to Xpander. |

(That's like accepting the notion claiming that George Bush as a compassionate conservative) For Christ's sake, there's a huge difference between skepticism (and it's corresponding realism) and the ignoramus' attempt to assert the congruence of the status-quo!
I think it was you who was defending M.I.K.E. as well, claiming he was one of the most creative artists in the industry. Well ing what-ever! He may very well be, but he all to often succumbs to the formulaic tendencies of this drugged-out electronic dance music scene. ( Mind you, he was a drug addict himself... )
... are you so weak and credulous that you can't even scrutinize people who make it there business to get kids high in a club! Maybe you're young, and if not, for 's sake wake up man!

Refuge talks very seriously about the music he listens to because he is very passionate about it and feels very strongly about it. This is because he respects the artists/producers who have put their utmost effort into crafting a tune which they can only hope and pray that people like us will enjoy. He also understands that no artist is perfect and sometimes fails to meet expectations.Regardless of these ups and downs, the producer is still to be respected for the sole effort and passion.
Unfortunately, you have failed to understand any of this. I had thought that you might have understood something after my previous post but I think it proved to be pointless. |

i don't care at all for refuge or matt and haven't heard the track, but it's like this: everyone has their own taste. you have the right to bash mike and lvee, others have the right to say they like their music. about the ripoff, yeah it's very lame from lvee to do so, even more when it's the second time and when credit isn't given, but if it sounds good listen to it. |

i respect your opinion, but do you have experience in production? it's waaaaay harder than one might think at the start. unless you're really good and/or work really hard and/or start with top hardware gear, you'll take a minimum of one, two years to make a pro track by yourself. |

I produced for a couple of years, still do sometimes... meh... It's boring. It was cool when i was high. It's incredibly simple . I can give you a sample if you'd like. |
