| I always ride with weapons in my vehicle (I have permits, and licenses) so I would have turned off my car and lights and put on my nightvision goggles and went big foot hunting with a friend. *Shrugs* Fear or no fear I have no doubt I woulda grabbed my weapons and stood my ground. If its like most animals when you stand your ground and make a lot of noise it'll go. Odd that it didn't when you blew your horn and everything. But thats the time when you wish you'd have a digital camera or camcorder with you. Every time I go camping or hiking by myself or in groups we always have survival equipment with us, and enough ammo to sustain a small firefight. Gosh I wanna go there now and just check out that area for about a week or two with some friends. |

I'm moving to Seattle next week for work. I'm going to be spending a week or so camping in that area.:nervous:
Two years ago when I was working at Microsoft, I was with two friends driving back from Lake Chelan. We pulled over at one point to look at the stars. So we took an exit which headed directly into a wooded area... I went to open my door so I could see up, and my friend got way freaked out and wouldn't let me. Those dark woods around Seattle really freak people out it seems. Best place ever. |

I say- go back with your friend, 2 white girls, a latino, and a black person.
You won't have to worry for a while.......once one of the girls die, you should head for the hills, cuz you know the first to go is the black person, the latino, and then one girl...

| I think the only reason you are scared so much is because you don't know what it is. I tend to be a realist and i think it was probably a large bear but who knows, i may be wrong. I for one am so glad i stay in new orleans, where if your going to get murdered, at least it will be with a bullet, statistically. :D |

I say we send our resident Terminator, Orbax out there. Equip him with night vision cameras, like in that one MTV show. What was it called? Where they had people do "missions" in haunted places, and they had night vision cameras and walkie-talkies.

Haha. You make it sound like you go camping in 3rd world countries or something. Do you also carry enough ammo to stage a military coup? |
