Yeah, most Alice Deejay will probably get them hopping... you could also try any europop tracks, they'll probably be able to connect easily with that. ApiPe has a good store of eurodance - http://mp3.nu/apipe

Its what I do for a living..so heres my advice Europop/eurodance/eurotrance call it what u will, but it will probly go over fine. Depending on the crowd you could drop some of the more mainstream trance anthems, like on the move, blood is pumpin, fire wire etc. They will probly want lots of hip hop, cuz there is tons of good hip hop out right now, like peaches and cream, u remind me, etc. And to help u out, there isnt much good pop. Other than bootilicious, pop, and a few others...so there. Thats my advice!

right ill try to help seeing as i am 15! i like uplifting music, especially trance, u can't go wrong with silverblue, gouryella, or something like that, my only concern is that a lot of people my age like punk music, but if they're going to a dance music gig, you'd think they want to listen to dance music. getting involved with the crowd is okay, but i think that too much of that stuff makes people think you are trying to hide what you are doing, so they think ure e. well that's what my m8s said last time we went to a gig. but the dj actually was very bad there. we left very early. anyway, anything to get them roaring is good, especially songs with quiet bits in them, eg. pulser - cloudwalking, but anything uplifting is good, also keep the songs and mixes short and sweet. hope this helps.

Well, i'm 14, so i'll try to help a bit...
I like Uplifting trance and a little trance-techno (mauro picotto style).. If you keep playing pumping beats and sick melodies you'll be just fine!

Id go with anything with a catchy synth and eurodance basically any happy stuff definetly throw some cheese in there hehe :p

I'm 15 and unfortunatly teen clubs all here are more into simple remixes of pop songs. They like something they've heard before and can sing along to. If you play something they've never heard of they'll stand around giving you the "WTF is this" comments. So be careful and have backup songs. Play the trancey stuff and see if they get into it and if they do, give 'em the best. If they're too young and stupid to like trance I feel sorry for this gig. But whatever.
I like the underground trance myself, but they might actually go for Darude and simple commercial items so who knows.

Just don't play Jock Jams music:whip:
DJ LIQUID
mainstream music :whip: :whip:

unfortunately that'll probably go over better than most trance tracks (all other underground music) :(
DJ Fundamental
Just play anything that you would normailly consider as 'cheesy'!

No offence to our younger TA's though. They probably have better tastes than most their age!!

From my experience, you gotta start with commercial stuff and build up real slow. Towards the end you can probably get away with some uplifting trance but anything too heavy and there off. A real hard age group to deal with. To be honest, whatever you play your gonna get stick about. I done one a couple of years back and they kept coming up asking for garage the whole time, so I put some garage on and evreyone just went and sat down. Even when I was playing garage people were coming up saying 'when you gonna put some garage on?'
Nightmare!

Barry
Gil Shwarts
DJ Jean - The Launch
DJ Jurgen - Higher and Higher
Darude - Sandstorm

these will lift them up... I personally hate these songs :)
