There were these two IMHO classic rave tunes which let me get more interested in EDM:

Jam & Spoon - You Gotta Say Yes To Another Excess
Moby - Feeling So Real (Westbam Mix)

And Trance I started to love when I heard:

Gouryella - Gouryella
and
Art Of Trance - Madagascar

Cheers
Ovid

Those four tunes I still adore btw. :D

Tough one - it's been years!!

I started off with New Beat *ducks* and after that the sounds of Belgium, Boccaccio. I believe one of the first Trance records I heard was "BBE - Seven Days And One Week". It's been too long to really remember...

Ow, could've actually been "Metro Dade - The Andor Voyage"...

Nah, it probably was "Quest I.C. DJ Gene Pole - Eternity". What a track!

prodigy - experience got me into dance music, nothing really got me into trance specially.
Eddie N MIAMI
Prodigy - the Fat Of the land got me into EDM

a compilation cd called Ibiza 99 The Year Of Trance, and George Acostas cd "Awake" got me into trance.

Growing tired of Euro cheese!!

Armins Club Eau set from 3-18-00 as my first liveset to sample, was also a big help. Strong into trance for 4+ years now.
