| Someone buys me a crappy-cheese compilation in 1999 (I remember the year because of the name of the CD's). It has a CD named "eurotrance", and this was the CD I played most times. The tunes I liked most on this CD where System F - Out of the blue, ATB - Too much rain and... DJ Jean - The launch. |

| Some PvD and Oakenfold tracks I got from my friend. But what really got me into it big time was after I started eating pills. Went to South Beach for spring break in '99 and spent 4 nights at the Shadow Lounge. Missed Oakenfold's essential mix world tour set there by 1 week :/ Pretty much all I've listened to since then. |

what got me into edm was sasha & digweed's nothern exposure II
before that i thought dance music was barbie girl etc ... that is what happens when you grow up in the backwaters of canada.
