What were you expecting? Him to play Armin's stuff? He was playing in front of MILLIONS of people. Of course he's going to spin his own stuff. FFS, he'd be a moron if he played everyone elses tracks.

Do more , it not only emphasizes your point, but makes you look so 1337 and cool.

Not only directed towards you- but lay off the damn Tiesto hating. HOW many of you go to see his shows? Ok, so STFU. He knows how to get a crowd going. If you don't like his stuff, stop going to see his shows, and shut the hell up. I'm so sick of the bandwagon "TIESTO SUX!!!!!!!!" hating crap. All of you are acting so childish. There are plenty of DJs/bands/artists I don't like but I'm not going to post it in BIGGER sizes to emphasize my point, and rant on and on in every single thread made about them.

We're here on this forum for the music which means that everyone has their tastes, but what brought us all together was the music. Let's not infiltrate negativity into the forum.

*edit* And btw, had my power not been out, and my house nearly busting inwards, I would have watched the ceremony and loved every damn second of it.

I liked the fact that I heard this tunes during the ceremony. I mean, I have friends in south america, and they all saw and told me about Tiesto. While here in the US, he wasnt even mentioned ONCE nor focused, which is a hugh disgrace. Reagardless, he put up a great set.. I was so trying to ID the tunes heh... people in the stadium seemed to enjoyed them. Imagine walking in that atmosphere with trance? :D .. sucks how NBC broadcasted it though.. Commercials every 3 freaking mins..

Look to be honest with you, once upon a time I loved Tiësto and now I don't...I am not hating on him. It's not as if I stereotypically said what I did because "others" have. There is no bandwagon to jump on. As far as I know I am allowed to add my 2 cents about him. Yes I pay to go to see him live because he can sometimes still suprise me but don't kid yourself...Tiësto has become very mainstream and full of himself. Yeah kudos to him for making it #1 for 2 years back to back but it's not like he had to blow up into a ballon about it. It's not the first time he sat there and played his own ...He did it at a club in the States...so when I saw this it made me prove my point further. Yeah he can play his own tracks but surely not all of them...did the Athens Committee tell him...play all your own productions? No. He played it to give himself exposure and fame. And as far as I know it's all he cares about. Tiësto is not the same he was, say 2 years ago. How about this for negativity...go to the PVD hype thread and you see all these people talk about PVD, now I am a PVD fan and I don't care to say because everyone is entitled to their own opinion as I am entitled to mine and if I don't like what he played I can comment on it. I am not being negative because I can give Tiësto credit when he does well. I am not a complete Tiësto hating person who jumps on some bandwagon. Every DJ is different and they all have their own ways and I as a fan of EDM and someone who has noticed changes can say something about it. Honestly I love Armin, to me he is #1 but if he went and blew up about his fame like he is all that matters I would not like him as much. A lot of Tiësto has changed beginning from his attitude to his productions.

That's all I have to say...I should not be eaten alive for having an opinion...there is no such negativity coming from that.

Just my two cents.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Once upon a time I loved Tiësto and now I don't sums up my feelings perfectly, which is why I will NOT be seeing him in September. Last time at Space sucked donkey balls which made the overcrowding that much worse. Enough said.
