Astur sounds like a great name. Specially for a psy dj.

As for me im dreo. But my friend likes Andre O more lol...he tells me it makes me sound professional and like Marco V(his fav DJ lol).

Loose the 'DJ' part it's kind of stating the obvious anyways. Astur by itself is actually kinda cool. :)

Cheers

Thx, I was actually thinking the 'DJ' part was too much and too cheesy :p
Lol, not a psy DJ though, Techtrance and Techno :)
Audigy7
I go by DJ Audi. Simple and doesn't sound to bad.

i use my real name Hai Lee Chen. i guess its original enough, since there aren't too many other asian djs out there. i actually wanted to use an old counterstrike nickname that i use { trancin | chink } but i was afraid too many people would get offended. LOL!

the fact you use the word "chink" to refer to yourself is hilarious. i love it.:haha:

good job not being offended by a racial slur. i'd name myself "cracker" but i dont know if that would go over so well.:D

I picked out Chroma a while back with intentions of changing it in the future, but it's stuck since then.

I picked it out from a painting/art book and the definition was good enough for me. As it's easy to relate DJing to painting.

Chroma
1. the purity of a color, or its freedom from white or gray.
2. intensity of distinctive hue; saturation of a color.

It also brought back memories of Chrome's remix of Come Along by Ballroom, excellent track off of Magik 7.

But in the end, it really doesn't matter what name you pick as a DJ/producer... whichever name you pick will only be as good as your productions/DJ skills. You think all the current DJ names rock because you associate those names with excellent music. Ferry Corsten? I mean seriously, FERRY? For a guy? It only sounds unique and interesting because you relate the name to his badass music.

My DJ name would be Mr. Wilkins because my real name is William Simpkins!

yea, i've been offended enough times not to really care. i don't really see it as a big deal anymore, its just a label. :p

Ferry is actually a very common first name for guys in the Netherlands.

Maybe that's why he chose it. I think it sounds much better than over 90% of those all-too-cool made up names.

hmm I've gone by (which is my current) DJ Tw-e-k, but many other people just call me Tw33k, and anything that sounds like the word Tweak.

I actually got that name ages ago when in High school. I used to bike 6 miles everyday for 4 years. And with the bike alone and books made it heavy, so I srated to time myself to see if i can better myself. After the times tend to stay, I'd start modding the bearings and put lighter parts. I got so good at modding bearings that I did them for friends for money. One of my friends said "Man, you tweak all your bearings like mad." and other people mentioned that. ANd now this is where it stands.
