Hey guys,
thought I'd start a Discogs thread, if you have any questions about Discogs at all, please ask me and I'll see what I can do (I dont have answers for everything!)
Please also tell me if you have some pending things that need voting on and quote your username in your replies!
Cheers :-)

| How about you first explain why Discogs isn't loading. |

no need to use that tone mate... sheesh I'm trying to be helpful here.
It's got some downtime at the moment, the Site Admin is doing some fixing on some bugs, no ETA as of yet.
Be a bit nicer next time will ya? |

username: keithos27 (4 pending releases)
question: if i see a release that is pending (say tiesto - just be 4x12) and i add it to my collection while it is still pending, is it guaranteed to add to my collection when it gets approved? also, is it guaranteed to get approved if it is findable via search and shows up as pending?

Not sure if this was asked before but...
what inspired you to start this website?
How do you keep up and record the giantic database you have?
P.s.
Love the site. great site for info. |

| I posted a biography for Taylor as a comment a few months back. Don't know if it got wiped in the switchover, but it would be great to see it put up. |

Will there ever be a more simple search implemented? All I really want to see on the search results page is the title of the link, just like in discogs version 1.X
So like in this picture, it would be awesome to have a simplified search where only the stuff in red is shown and the description doesn't show up at all. I'm guessing that I'm not alone when I can tell by the link title if it's what I'm looking for, without even using the description. I mean, the description is great, but for me and others like me, it's essentially junk data that we have to ignore.

i'm no expert and i'm not involved, but i would guess it will work with the same principle as google and other search engines. if a compilation CD has a track by carl cox on it, it will drag that up as well as all the other stuff.
unless they section it into seperate search categories for singles and compilations with an option to omitt compilations? |
