Fistly sorry about this angry post, i don't normally write these kinds, but some of u are pissing me off so much i had to write it!:)
Iam getting a bit pissed off with everyone who talks total bull on these forums with titles like...
'melodic trance is dead'
'techno is the way for the future once trance dies'
'trance is dead?'
For s sakes your supposed to be tranceaddicts! not a bunch of arseholes who go on the forums and make posts on how melodic trance is formulatic, done before, and sooooo '99!! trance is what it is! 99% of us still love melodic trance so the rest of us why are u trying to scare everyone by telling us trance is dead? it hardly sounds like thye talk of a true TA? If u don't like it keep it to yourself, IMO you can either listen to trance and appreciate what it is or off! I mean lets face up to facts here Trance and Hard house, well at least in the UK anyway are the two most popular genres there are, so how the can it be dead, and techno?...well iam not saying techno is dead, far from it, but techno is a lot less popular than trance so how can that be the way for the future once trance supposidely dies out!
In my record store there is a section where there are hundreds of dance vinyls of all genres and everyone picks up the trance and hard house vinyls, the biggest and most popular clubs still book teh biggest trance DJs, so what does that say for the popularity of trance, while trance may not be as popular as it was in '99 the supposed backlash of trance is just one big loada bull invented by the media to kill off trance...and i can't believe some of u are falling for it! |

Shut up, ok you should keep that to yourself if i was you, and this forum, as the music discussion summary says is not just for trance chat, and if they want to talk about it, let them be shot down, but for some people it is the only way to learn.
There is no nead to write this kinda thread, it is a waste of time, ok you feel strongly about trance, so do i. And there is a lot more good in this forum than bad, not many flames and that is why i like the music discussion forum.
I have been here for 2 or 3 months now, and it does piss me off sometimes, but swearing about it wont help the cause.
I agree with you to a point, but you should not shout them down like this |

I live and die for trance man, don't get me wrong, but I think if our biggest problems in life are people saying trance is dead and techno lives then we have some major issues. Or well you do that is.
I thought it was weird how you thought techno was the "aftermath" of trance. I thought for sure you'd pick apart the prog heads and the hard house thumpers. Oh and by the way I thought that how you put trance and hard house in the same genre? You call yourself a trance addict?
I agree trance is still probably the most commercial of the electronic genres out there and also that the most succesful (money making that is) dj's do spin trance. But your argument is really uncalled for, who are you trying to convince, did you succeed? I doubt it dude. You just pissed more people off, IE myself.
It bothers me that there are trance addicts like you out there. Don't mean to be so harsh, but your "Shut the Up" thread wasn't really the epitemy of politeness.

Ok...i think my quote kinda says it all...You want everybody to behave like u?
U want the TranceAddict standard person to say words like that when trying to discuss serious stuff? You want ppl to say " off" just because someone has another view on their opinion....if Ur opinion is the "right" one....why did U join this forum to discuss it?

if you are so convinced that your opinion is right, then state your argument intelligently, coherently, tactfully.
posting a bunch of insults and anger accomplishes NOTHING, except getting a whole lot of people to think you are the true .
this is a trance website - people have different opinions of what trance is good, where it's headed, etc etc.
if those posts are soooo offensive to you, don't read them! |

oh please.... holding in anger causes stress and stress leads to mental problems.... why the do u ppl think i am the way i am all the ing time? FOR ING FUN? i shout and scream because it lets out what i have inside....and dont ing tell me not to take it out on other ppl.... its those ing ppl who piss you off in the first place! i know cuba, he is cool! and i know that he has a ing stressful life, like mine in some ways... we both have to put with stressful ANNOYING ing parent(s), and so on! so i can understand why he just shoots off sometimes! ITS GOOD FOR YA...... bye bye
P.S. therapy and BULL like that costs money, who the needs to waste money on some in a white suit telling u how u ed up when u could be spending your cash on trance?? |

None of us would be here if we didn't like Trance so why get all ty when people try to discuss it? Or would you rather we all stood in a circle holding each others dicks chanting "trance rules everything else sucks" whilst holding aloft "I LOVE TIESTO" posters with our free hand and jumping up and down on the spot until we simultaniously ejaculate on a white label which we then frame and send to Dumonde as a measure of our loyalty & admiration before posing for the mixmag photographers?
Why does everybody have to act like it's a competition to see who likes trance the most? Grow up and learn to live with people who have different opinions. Cheers for the advice Yevat. |

Well i can see ive got some angry replies...and...well, i woz just pissed off. I love epic trance and iam fed up of ppl slagging it off, so i overeacted, lets face it everyone does it, and its good for ya! soz if i offended anyone. i didnt mean it...lets all just chill!:cool:
Coup, thanx 4 offering me the money! ive just got a job and ive only just given my boss my bank details 2day so i hope ill get payed intime otherwise iam ed and have no other way of getting the money, i hope if i do get it the shop in town still sells the tickets! |
