You guys are funny. You guys know nothing about the NBA and yet, you flame it.
Even though the U.S most likely lose to the Puerto Rico, they're going to win the Gold regardless. |

and i'm sure all of them wanna be the olympic star or something...
all the international teams play a team game...NBA is too much of an individual game... |
You have proven yourself wrong right there. ;) They're not trying to outshine one another, that's what the All-Star game is for, not the Olympics. I've never seen such team unity from the likes of Iverson, Marbury and Lebron.
And the NBA is not an individual game, it's just hard to play with a bunch of guys you have a minute amount of experience playing with.
The reason the US dominated for so many years once NBA players were allowed to participate, is because only the elite were on the team. This year, no one wants to play for fear of injury and terrorism, so the team is plagued with inexperienced players.
It's not an excuse though, and I don't see them winning gold this year. |

well i'm watching it right now and i'm seeing the types of shots their getting...they look pretty rushed...and their isn't good passing...i'd say that is my basis for saying that they are trying to play the individual game.
of course they all have talent...but they are just getting their asses out played... |

One thing to take a note in is this:
PR and all the other international teams are used to playing with one another, practicing all the time and stuff...
the NBA players arent used to playing with one another..... supposedly the USA coach didnt go into the game confident.
But you know whaT? it doesnt matter what happened....those guys are NBA players..... NBA PLAYERS! they're making wads of cash for that very purpose- to play basketball.
if people are gonna use- oh they're not united, they didnt care about the olympics, they dont have the best players.......bla-in-bla
they were simply outplayed the WHOLE entire game.
u like apples?
well they lost
how do you like them apples?
lol:haha: |
