Tiesto - Just Be

I kinda feel a little let down at Just Be. Tiesto is my favorite Artist, and their where only two songs I raeally digged on.

| I used to think the same way. Tiesto is one of my favs and when I first heard just be I thought it ok, but nothing great. I kept listening to it and it started to grow on me. At first I thought walking on clouds totally sucked. I just started liking it 2 weeks ago. NOw I can't get enough of the song. |

dunno, but i really loved Just Be
some of the tracks on there really moved me
the only tracks i like are:
Forever Today
Traffic (gets me hyped up so easily)
Sweet Misery
Nyana
Walking On Clouds (fell in love with this track the 1st time i heard it)
A Tear In The Open
Adagio For Strings (absolutely hated this track at first but after hearing it indirectly a couple of times i began to like it, now it gets me worked up) |

Love Comes Again is really the only one I don't particularly care for.
A couple I loved immediately (like Forever Tomorrow), and the rest really grew on me... looks like I'm not the only one... |

| I didn't like it at all. But I had to put up with it every single time I was in my friends car. Now I actually don't mind it. |

I wrote a lenghty review of this, but the mods closed my topic, because "there were enough topics about it". :mad:
Anyway, to summarize: It's a good album, not equal to his first, but forever today is an excellent track. UR doesn't fit in, Misery sounds poppish, and Tear has a weird, "living" synth. (*a good thing) OH, and Clouds would be much better without vocals. |

| It's a great album once you let go and realize that it's not supposed to be In My Memory Part II. Talk about quality ch00ange. The only songs I don't care for too much are Nyana and UR. The rest = WOW. Right now the song of the moment off Just Be for me is A Tear In The Open. May have something to do with the fact that Delerium and McLachlan have been getting a lot of play on my comp recently. |
