Tiesto - Adagio For Strings?...Why Not William Orbit - Barber's Adagio For Strings

Sorry if this was brought up before but:
Why is it that Tiesto decided to release "Adagio For Strings" under that name, instead of "William Orbit - Barber's Adagio For Strings (DJ Tiesto Remix)"??
You didn't see Ferry or ATB release it under their names, so why does Tiesto feel he is so special.
Seems kind of like a ripoff, if you ask me.
I don't care what the vinyl or official release title is - this track will be William Orbit - Barber's Adagio For Strings (DJ Tiesto Remix) to me...
Anyone else feel like it is messed up? |

it really should be titled - Samuel Barber - Adagio for Strings
William Orbit, like ferry corsten, simply remixed it
and yes im sure there have been many threads about this before |

| Because Tiesto Remixed/Re-made the Original Barber's Adagio for strings composition in the same way William Orbit did, whereas Ferry Corsten just remixed William Orbit's version. You can call it Barbers Adagio (Tiesto Mix) if you want but that would be incorrect. Hope that clear's things up. |

Yep. Not one sample from Orbit's remix is used in the Tiësto version. |

| If you actually listen to the Ferry Corsten remix, and William Orbit's version you'll know that Ferry's remix doesn't use any elements of Orbit's performance at all. And I know, I own the single. |
