| I have SP2 on my system also and its working great, I had to turn off the firewall setting since everytime you click on an aplication, It nags you if you want to block or unblock the program, With it turned off, you don't get those annoying reminders. :D |

Actually you can, That icon on your taskbar is the Security Center, Go to your control panel and click on security center, In the Windows Security screen, On the left, Click where it says, Change the way Security Center alerts you, Then uncheck all 3 of the things in there, and then click ok, then that taskbar icon will be gone. :) |

| ive installed sp2 on a partially legit copy of xp professional (friends cd) and have and not one single conflict with any program. i diabled the xp firewall because its total . it runs alot smother aswell. so obiously the people who are bashing it either ed up or didnt even try it personally and are just reading whats online. its great! |

i've kept up on all my updates, so now i dont see anyting available for me to download when i got to windows update :D
oh well.... i've had some inconsistencies on c:/ and had a few blue screens earlier today. never happened before though, and i've reformatted/reinstalled my legit WIn XP Pro over 5x over the past 2 years.
