sounds like another plan from microsoft to cut out the competition to me.
what are the differences? what does it do? does it plug any other major holes? if its just for an improved "firewall" and security centre i won't bother as BlackICE + Norton AV are doing their jobs fine. |

All you need is a decent firewall, antivirus, and possibly adaware (keep those bastard spyware thingy's out), and you're set - no need for SP2.

hah I had that same problem... apparantly they're rolling out only on comps with auto-update on

I am looking for the general tab? Mine says Microsoft Windows XP/Home Edition/Version 2002.

| Installed it last week and haven't had any problems at all. You really only get asked once per program if you want to give it internet access. |
