spammers these days will "guess" possible email adresses, hotmail as you know is ran by microsoft, who have some of the best anti spam filters out there, the tranceaddict.net email server doesnt have these spam filters so hence the spam will get through, tough but tis life online these days...

The best spam filter I've ever seen is from Hello Kitty's mail server. My brother's got an account there and he never received anything in the last year.

I like yahoo's as well, although I often receive spams from some company my bloody sister signed me up in, as she was hopeful to get free subcription of some magazine

Lately I have some spam in Yahoo... The normal spam: Viagra, life insurance and such. But this is nothing compared to my uber spammed hotmail addres. I get nearly 20 spam mails every day.

What's that Hello Kitty mail server? It's free? I want an account in there :)

I must say my hotmail account has NEVER had spam, ive had several other hotmail accounts which spammed up cause of giving my email to random sites for promotions and ppl signing my email up to "fun questionairs for your freinds" but the account i have right now (nearly for a year) is untouched.

My TA.net email address has never received a single piece of spam in over a year. Screw filters, if you don't want to get spam, don't give your email address to spammers.

my hotmail addy gets spam like heck and I've never really given it out. Spammers use name generators for certain @(insert name).com. My ISP account never gets spam, use the spam filters and you should be able to crack down on it. Get an email account that you use to sign up for things, let that be your spam account and then keep you isp or main email account closely and only give the address to people you know and use the damn filters. Spam is a part of email sadly

Them bastards... I wonder if they really think their products will become more popular this way.

I remember I didn't go to a party I was planning to go after receiving 3 e-mails from them

It works really well, and you don't have to comb your trash bin to see if any legitimate emails were filtered out as spam. :)
