| Oh yeah! They really like experimenting with new textures, don't they? I wonder what their new album, IM The Supervisor, will be like. Already "Cities Of The Future" has some wailing synths that are distorted and scream and twang like guitars! Dramatic stuff. :) |

There is lots of Psy trance which is influenced by Rock music and many Psy trance artists use Guitar sounds and elements from the rock/metal genre in their works.
Skazi who you mentioned already is actually a former member of a hard metal band so you can hear the influence it had on him and his music.
You should also check some of S.U.N Project's works, lots of guitar elements there…

You could just bust out Trance Nation 6. It has like what, 6 80's songs remixed? And, you can listen to Whomp There It Is. Woo!
I know where you're coming from though. A lot of my friends are like that. I usually just listen to Blink or something. It's either that or hear constant about how techno takes no skill to make and gets repetitive. Damn haters! |
