yeh his set was seriously one of the best ive heard this year, his mixing skills are absolutely incredible considering hes only been mixing for 2 years. He uses only CDJs and works that loop function like a demon!
some other tracks he dropped:
Beastie Boys - Intergelactic (MDK remix)
Alex Dolby - Psiko Garden (Sasha's Stretch Limo Edit)
Tilt - The World Doesn't Know
he ended up playing a 4hr set instead of 3 cause, well, we just didn't let him get off lol
some other interesting stuff he mentioned was him turning down a number of offers from Global Underground to do a compilation - he said whats the point, he'd rather do one on his own label. Also turned down luke chable's offer to work on a track whilst hes here.. hes really not a chable fan as he mentioned! |

OMG what a night. Firstly MDK astounding me with a killer driving set. Then having the privaledge of him sitting and chillin at my place. Terrific guy so sweet and full of smiles was amazed by the stories and gossip.
Top night, one that I dont think i'll ever forget. Oh yeah got my copy of higher thoughts messaged and signed :)

| Yeah couldn't hack PvD at all. Good freinds with Armin and Tiesto and speaks nothing but praise about them. Also really close friends with Yunus and Subsky (who are undoubtedly some quality produces). I think most of us are still pinching ourselves to say the least. Chilling with one of the finest produces to brace electronic dance music. Was a pleasure to say the least! |

Just a heads up - part of the Sydney set was recorded and is up at www.djmixes.2k.com for those of you who weren't aware. Giving it a listen now - nice stuff. :)
EDIT: - Actually, after checking ITM, it looks like this wasn't actually recorded at the Sydney gig it was just broadcast on the same night. Worth a listen anyway. |
