if you dont get many coming your way then i suppose you might as well go along ... but for people living in europe there is easy access to about 1000 djs better than him.

well first of all most ppl here don't play trance sets (donŽt know why) so on that it has 1 point to its favor, no not too many top name djs come here all the time, LOL last year that sasha came they planed it wrong and the police stoped the concert lol. so yeah IŽll start looking for money hehe...

ok so ask sasha, zabiela, van Dyk, adam freeland, carl cox, garnier etc etc what they think of ferry corsten & see if they laugh in your face.

i understand some people like him & he has a fanbase

but these people are largely new to the scene & know of very little other music.

I'm willing to bet that those DJs you named still respect him as an artist. But still, it should go without saying that 6 DJs does not represent everybody in the music scene.

haha honestly

ask any of them

you can pretty much name any dj other than armin van buuren / l vee and none of them will have much respect for ferry corsten

rightly or wrongly, trance is a joke to every other style of artist. You can discuss the rights and wrongs of this all you like but it is still a fact...

when asked the question 'if you had one bullet, who would get it?' adam freeland replied 'dj tiesto'

it says a lot about what everyone else thinks of 'trance' djs.

if you think otherwise you are deluded.

yeh

i dont mean this in a way, but im guessing you are 17-20 and i can see you are from america ... in a few years time Americans will start to understand the bitchiness of the whole industry, more people hate each other than like each other - there are very few people tolerant of other peoples sound, especially that of 'trance' djs... they are definately at the bottom of the 'dj ladder', not in terms of popularity, but in terms of respect.

I think having respect from your peers is something to be strived for... in any line of work, being respected by people who do a similar job is quite a nice thing .... and its something that no trance dj has apart from Paul van Dyk to a very small extent (due to his history working with respected artists / involvement with the scene / loveparade etc...)
mr.anderson
Ferry is simply the best! He's the father of trance-----he's 100% worth going to see, l have seen him numerous times, nt always made a crowd cry and give goose pimples, which is always a good sign:)
