I agree with this post. I'm still on dial-up even though it's widely available here. With the cost of school and bills I can't afford it, yet. :D |

I have that choice, but I am satisfied with my ty dial-up connection. I don't download music, games and whatnot, so I don't have that much of a desire to upgrade. I'm patient enough to wait that extra half a second for a webpage to open. :p
Although the extra bandwidth would be useful when sending/recieving music samples, it's a disadvantage I'm willing to endure for a cheaper connection. :D |

| My parents and both siblings are still on dial-up as well as a couple of my friends I've known my whole life. For them its mostly about the cost because they use services like Netzero and their income isn't the highest. I think its all about priorities though. They all just check email and thats about it. Me, I couldn't live without it as I download assloads of on a daily basis both here at work (T1) and at home (3MB Down). |
