WTF?

For me "no budget" means, "no money", and no money for a dj fee means that he didn't get payed. tell me how else you might interpet that!?!?

"No budget" to me says "we didn't plan for it."

Doesn't mean that money came from somewhere at the last minute.

Like when you get a speeding ticket, and think ", we didn't budget for that." It is possible that the Tiesto spinning at the OCs was a last minute effort to increase ticket sales, which had been seriously lagging and directing a lot of criticism towards the Athens marketing and PR committee.

Tickets for the opening ceremonies have been sold out way in advance...the opening ceremonies were never the problem when it came to ticket sales :)

I personally think he did feel honoured to be a part of the olympic ceremonies - but even if he did do it for the money, I don't think there would be anything wrong with that :p who cares

If we all found out that Tiesto had done the olympic cermonies for money.. would you really lose respect for him? Dj'ing is his CAREER

I agree with you, it shouldnt matter if he did get paid, or if he made a lot of money because of it. I mean, we cant kid ourselves and say we wouldnt want to make a lot of money either. The reason I posted this however, is because certain individuals made insults/lewd comments about him and basically said that he's only doing it because money is all that matters to him.

I'm not saying Tiesto is doing it for the money, but if he is there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. In fact, it's a good thing because the more Tiesto sells, the more people are introduced to EDM.

2 tips for you:

1. Try writing your posts in proper english
2. Read my post directly above the one you quoted and avoid yourself some embarrassment.
