If you've been in the COR recently you may have read my thread on the car accident I had last week.

I'm currently shopping for a new auto and I think I have it narrowed to two vehicles.

Audi A4 1.8T

BMW 325i

Just wondering, which one do you prefer?

Ive been in the same predicament last year & I actually bought a used Lexus. But after test driving the both of the cars, I choose the Audi (if thata my choice). The problem though is that after I researched that car I heard people talk about it after 60k miles, so its up to you.

I don't know anything about cars, but I always liked BMW and when I get the money (and a driving license ;) ) I want to buy one.

well, I think that I have to vote for the Audi A4 1.8T, cause that's the car I own... :p

btw... it looks exactly like the one in the picture :D

E46 owns the B6 in terms of driving dynamics. However the 325i is probably one of the biggest poseur vehicles in the world. Those who only want a propeller badge to look cool at the country club buy 325is. I have two friends with E46s, one with a 325Ci and another with a 330i. I've also had a short blast in a B6 A4 1.8T. It depends on what you're looking for. For me personally, if I were looking for a German sport sedan and my options came down to an E46 or a B6, I'd go with the E46 although I'd probably save up for the 3.0L M54. If all you want is a cruiser then it's pretty much up to you. RWD vs. FWD or AWD, natural aspiration vs. forced induction, etc...

Audi = much more reliable but uglier shapes IMO

BMW = costy repair parts but good overall rating

I'd go with Audi on the long run

from a purely looks and style point of view, id go with audi. but on something like this, id do extensive research into both cars, reading user reviews, not reviews on their websites to see which is the better cars. 3/4 of the people voting on this poll, will purely go on looks, including me.

BMW - rear wheel drive, you know it makes sense!
