I am licensed to carry a weapon, but I no longer own a gun. I used to go to a gun range to shoot just to keep my skills on mark, but I haven't been to one in a while. My father taught me how to use a gun when I was younger. That may bother some people, but he had the right idea. I was taught that guns are only to be used for your protection...someone's life is in grave danger. By the time I was 11 I was an excellent marksman. I think I scared the out of some people at a range once! :p I know how to handle a gun properly and I'm not scared of them, but I choose not to own a gun. I see no reason to. I definitely won't have one in my home when I have children.
On a lighter note...
I was the kid that liked the games in the arcade where you had to shoot things. The more complicated the situation the better. I still will go to somewhere like Gameworks and shoot the hell out of things! :p |

WTF is that? Just looking at it made me laugh my ass off. Is that a water gun? If so, that's the meanest water gun I've ever seen.

Why is it an issue to have a gun when you have a kid? If you keep it properly secured there should be no problem with it. |

My next gun is going to be either a 9mm or a .50 calibre magnum revolver.
Im thinking the 9mm cuz id use it more, but with camping a 9mm wont stop animals.
then again its the difference between 300 bucks for a 9mm and 20 cents a round or 1200 and 1.50 a round.
pretty much getting the 9.
the 50 would be sweet though. |
Get the 9 dude. I used to have a .50 Desert Eagle. Paid out the ass for the gun and the rounds were so expensive it was ridiculous. It was fun to shoot for a while but after a while I just sold it to get something a little more reasonable to shoot. |

Yeah, that pretty much where Im leaning. I just love revolvers with all my heart hehe.
My bros got a sig p220 .45 cal and I love it. I shoot in the mountains a lot, and would love a cheaper version. Plus I dont think Id mind winging someone so much if I knew it wouldnt destroy them haha |

Amber I have a picture of you in my head as one of the girls in "Jackie Brown" that was shooting a machine gun with a bikini on.
