i have a couple
.270 bolt action hunting rifle
browning 9mm antique semi automatic pistol from circa 1953
pump action 12 gauge
4-10 for gophers
old skool double barrel 12 gauge breach loader (has to weigh about 15 kilos)

and a spudzooka
oxy-acetylene with a diesel ether booster charge potatoe cannon....

most of the guns (the two twelve gauge and the 9mm) came from my grandfather who passed away this christmas, i keep them around as heirlooms. the 4-10 and the .270 are my own and i use them for hunting on occasion, and sometimes just shooting bottles behind the barn.

i have no problem with guns, just idiots who dont respect them. i have completed both the standard FAC and restricted FAC.

had my pistol not been my grandfathers i would have never owned one.

I'm Canadian, we don't carry guns in Toronto unless you deal drugs.

my dad owns two shotguns which he used to use for hunting, but now he only goes and shoots skeet occasionally. He also has a rifle up at our farm which he picked up for cheap at some auction. i used to use it when i was younger to shoot at targets at the farm.
I now have no desire to own a gun or shoot them. I've gone skeet shooting with my dad but i don't even enjoy that too much either.

Most guns used to commit crimes are stolen anyway. That's why the Canadian Government cracked down on the gun owners. It cost 700 million but I rather have the cops be able to track guns that commit crimes. In Canada, you have to get two permits to be able to own a gun. First of all you have to get the government to say you can carry a gun, usually it's between home and the range or the club you attend or if you hunt. A cop once told me, it's almost impossible to get a full carry permit, to be able to take it anywhere in Canada unless you are a police officer, then as long as you are on duty, you can carry one. Cops can't carry them around when they are off duty, they have to take them home and lock them up. Then you need a license to buy ammo as well. Both processes are lengthy at times and a pain in the ass. Most gun deaths in Canada are gangs vs. gangs or husband vs. wife.

own the civilian vers of a colt M4A1, and of course my M16 at the armory, all zeroed, clean, and ready for action. would like to fire something else other than american built rifles, something i can get sandy and wet and dirty and not have to worry about jamming or bolt overrides every other clip. anyone got an AK, the oldschool kind with the wood handguards and buttstock?
