We all pretty much agree that EA Sports makes the best sports games right? Ok maybe not for football(fifa is good but not good as the others). But I am really looking forward to picking up the following:
NHL 2005
NBA 2005
and I want to get Madden althought its out already.
Anybody with me? I think NHL & NBA are great games and really fun to play. ESPN brand games are poor and are about a year behind EA in graphics, play etc. |

Also, up until this year, their baseball games have been CRAP. ESPN was always better. But this year, ESPN did nothing to improve and EA did everything to improve. Also, as far as "pick up and play" games go, I like FIFA better than Winning Eleven. WE has more depth and what not, but FIFA is very fun and easy to jump right into.
Though EA definitely has American Football locked with Madden. Been the best for nearly a decade. |

Definitly America Football is real good and Im not that big of a fan of it. Fifa is fun I havent been conerted yet to Winning Eleven from Fifa. Although im dying to try it out lol. Bought both ESPN & EA games for Hockey. EA by far is better in that. |

| Yeah... and you Brits don't follow baseball, so you probably haven't played those. Do they even release baseball games over there? |

I think Madden is probably the best game they put out now. I personally think EA Sports is falling behind with the times in capabilities of games, but thats my opinion. NHL 2004 I thought was horrible, it just didn't cut it for me. The previous NHL games were great to play, but 2004 sucked. |

Not to mention, it's only $20. I've never liked Madden that much, although I haven't played any of the versions from the past couple of years. The best football game to date is still Tecmo Bowl, with Joe Montana Football on the genesis, a close second. |

I'm really looking forward to NHL 2005. 2004 is such a wicked game, and that fact that you create your own dynasty made it 10x better then 2003, not to mention being able to play the European leagues too. I'm hoping for 2005 that you can create your own Dynasty League by mixing it with a combination of NHL and European teams. They should also try to bring in vintage players, outdoor areanas and more jerseys.
I've played the new ESPN Hockey 2K5 and it still doesn't stand up to EA's 2004. Can't wait to see what's in store for us this time! |

Well NHl and Madden are out for Ps2 and Xbox
Nba is Da best!:toothless they spend time on this series and it is shown, stupid bugs are always a concern though.
The Fifa demo was nice, all the last 3 Fifa's are the same... |

*Update* Fifa Football 2005 cover features Viera, Sheva, and Morientes on the cover.
Also understand that at times Fifa releases different covers for different areas (Europe,Asia,N America, S America).
I like this cover they all had great seasons so it figures they would put them on it. |
