My dad and me are thinking about buying a house in east toronto (off danforth subway line) and renting it out to me, and 3-4 other Rye High Kids. Having 4-5 kids in a house can drastically reduce rents, to as low as 350/month, depending on the expenses on the house, but 400-425 is more fair of an estimate.
My first source to find people is TA; that way, loud choons could be blasted with minimul problems, hehe.
As well, the house could be used as a pre-drink gathering b4 heading out to events.

PS. non-Ryerson students are welcome, but location of the house will based on proximity to Ryerson. (Less than 15 minutes commute is the goal) |

Hopefully ASAP (for this semester).
If I can't find & select the right tenants ASAP, then I will do this for second semester, moving in during the winter break.
If it is not feasible to only run the house for 1 semester, then this will absolutely be taking place for Sept.2005.
I believe strongly that living out of home & with like-minded people can greatly increase university, party life, and form a small 'community' that will make an awesome year. |
