Looks impressive indeed, but eh...
Why do I have this presentiment that it wont work on my system properly just like another SX version I tried? The more fancy tools there on, the more time it takes to start the program, the more unsolvable problems you get and the more complex it gets:mad:
Sure it's great stuff, dont get me wrong. But I just need a better computer:rolleyes: |

Impressive!
I like when the midi was in the track together then another window. And also the automation control can be drawn on the waveform then extend the track. Works just like Protools.
Very nice! |

| Logic 7 is also gonna have liquid audio... Aka real time warping.. |

I had some doubts wats the differnt of the time stretch of the SX3 and SX2?
Though it mentioned these but I still doubt on understanding it.
| quote: | | Audio Warp : Realtime Time Stretching and Pitch Shifting offer extensive new audio editing and processing capabilities, including ACID® File support: loops automatically adopt a project’s tempo; audio files can follow tempo changes in realtime. |
Does it mean even it is in Audio Wav? When I change the tempo on the transport bar, it will change the tempo as well??
Clear my doubts.:whip: |

I'm not that happy. Sure, all those features are cool, but most competing DAW progs are coming up with similar stuff (Samplitude gets Elastic audio too, Logic 7 presumably too). What pisses me off is that lots of users have been asking for decent routing and bussing capabilities for ages, and SX3 still hasn't got it, if you read the features list. You'll still have to use dedicated software or specialised tricks to do such simple things as say, sidechaining.
Imo, this is the area where Cubase still falls short compared to it's competitors, and I find flexible routing is not really a feature that has to be there, but a basic requirement. |

I dont see the big deal about Liquid Audio... is really tempo change in a track really that tempting.. not for me as I produce trance and the BPM should stay the same way anyways..
although i am looking forward |

So, Cubase should only be for people that compose rigid trance? Kinda egoïstic remark don't you think. Besides, it helps a lot when importing loops in another tempo. |
