So, there are two definitive versions of this right(minus all the remixes)? The Coldplay version(with lyrics)and the Clokx version, right? Which is the original? How does Coldplay have anything to do Clokx? Or vice-vera? Someone must know!
Thanks. |

coldplay (the uk rockgroup) did the original version first, then later on some people started to do bootleg remixes of the track, some of these remixes can be found on vinyl and whatever. ron van den bueken did a trance remake of clocks under the name clokx, and that remake started out as a bootleg and then became properly released
also michelle nicol did a bootleg of clocks called time, also first released on white label and then properly released |

| Coldplay's version is the original, they composed the melody and get writing credits. But personally the Marco V remix rocks far more than their version. |

There are hundreds of remixes.
Michel Nicol - Time is good, there are two versions of it going around though.
G&D - Serendipity vs. Coldplay - Clocks was never released, but is the best.
Still trying to track down Clocks (Manny mix) as well. No luck though. :( |

How anyone can say that any of the remixes are better than the original is beyond me!!
Marco V gave is a good effort but I am afraid everyone lese made cheap poppy remixes of a tune which remains one of the best things to come out of England in years! |

| I like Gabriel and Dresden's version of it best, it takes the best bits of the original and puts it against music that compliments it perfectly. And they don't use that annoying 'and nothing else compares...' vocal from the original. Marco V's mix is cool as well. I think the original by Coldplay is a decent tune, better than most pop crap anyway. It's not an amazing song or anything IMO, but the piano line they wrote is already a classic riff and it doesn't sound like anything else, so I give them credit for that. |
