I haven't listened to much new music the last 2 months, last week I listen to saturday trance music show. It totally sucked, so I think ok might just be some sort of stupid music day... now I turn on the radio for a saturday night of trance listening and what the hell, I HAVE NEVER heard such played in succesion in my whole life. Has something happend? Why does everything sound like 80's pop or something that has a trance beat mixed into it.... IT totally ing sucks.. I might as well go buy a dj sammy album.
Here are some of the tracks being played currently... all I can say is WTF!... these have been played in succesion, the only decent track they played was Matt Darey ,nocturnal night.

yes your experiencing your radio station commercialising
as in trying to grab more listeners by playing more "friendly" aka pop/mainstream type of music
happened here in australias only station that played some edm, started off fairly non-cheesy then just lost the plot after about a year or two as they wanted to get more listeners

A radio show called the world of dance Hosted by a guy called Derek the bandit, on our local radio station 5fm.

The guys quite a good DJ but these days he seems to be reverting to utter cheese. He totally saved the day though, with his set when Judge Jules was here and played such a bad set that you could feel the people wanting to boo, (I think people would have boo'd though, if a flood light didn't fall over and nearly kill a guy, that kind of changed the mood) |
