| what exactly is 'labor' day as we don't have that holiday here in the UK, however if it seems like a good enough one, i'm gonna start it from today each year on :p |

every year it falls on the very first monday of september. its like thanksgiving... no set date :p

My university didn't give us any days off for it. so all of you who got the days off :mad: I wanted a vacation. |

we wouldn't have this day, if it wasn't for those dedicated hard working labor folks getting us our service and making out clothes that we wear (our banana republics, gaps, expresses, etc, etc, etc ...), and the food we eat ..
if we are celebrating labor day for the hard working folks, are we also celebrating for the hard working child labor out there also ???
