Still tired today from the party. ..I am getting old. LOL.

I spent a large part of the night in Charlies in order to escape the heat from the mainrooms and because the vibe was so great. John, great times were had by all of us who spent the night in the Interference room. I did manage to catch alot of Nu-NRG, Infusion and Deep Dish all of which I really enjoyed but I seem to enjoy the more intimate settings these days where I don't have to worry about crowding or messed up people so I was happy to hang in Charlies for most of the night.

Deep Groove never fails to impress me no matter if they are playing an opening set or a peak time one. There set in Charlies to open the night was just simply, brillant. Always a pleasure Alex and Ariel. Keep up the great work.

I will let the other TA's who caught Aaron's set post reviews on his performance as he knows I always love his track selection, programming and mixing...not to mention..he is pretty hot too. LOL. You always make me proud babe. I do have to say though that round 2 with Ariel was really awesome. So glad they asked you guys to keep the room open. BTW..what is this I hear about some bitches wandering around with your name on their chest. LOL. Camille and Pam are too much.

DJ Mute played a wicked set. I hear you were jet lagged but you would never have known. Really enjoyed jumping around to every tune you dropped and I definitely shared some great moments with so many other TAs on the dancefloor while you played. I really hope to hear a set from you again soon.

Thanks to all the TAs from TO, NY and Detroit that made this night so much fun. Too many too mention so a blanket hug goes out to you all.

Quite possibly one of the best overall atmospheres at the guv complex so far. Having the headliners so early in the night got the crowd going right from the start, and the vibe continuted until the end.

I was most impressed with Sander, and Ferry as always is top notch. It probably made a big difference that so many TAs were there, and that we prepartied the night before.

Happy to meet everyone from the US, and what a nice party to end my summer...

Peace,
Rich

1st off, thanks to Arturo & Nu-NRG for the guest list hookups. Without it, I don't think I would've been able to attend. John- I gave all my reduced spots to the NY kids, so they didn't go to waste.

Thought the Guv looked great from the outside. Too bad I only noticed the Circus Orange guys jumping on trampolines & throwing fire AFTER I'd gotten in past guest list. I'm not sure if they were visible once on the grounds or not, but those guys are always fun to watch.

Once inside, cherished the last few moments of space and cool air before the masses were to arrive. Thought the DJ booth in the KH was a little too high up for my liking, but other than that the place looked good. Headed into Guv to catch last few mins of Fanciuli, then Sander took over. Thought it was super to have the DJ booth in front of the stage- all the NYTA's camped out right behind Sander. Nice setup in there indeed. Enjoyed his DVD-DJ'ing along with the music, then headed into Charlie's at 12:15 to catch Aaron dropping those bombs. Wasn't up for dancing tho- just enjoying the A/C and seats to sit in, while I caught up w/DJ Mute and tried to keep him from drifting into unconsciousness from jetlag.

At 1:30, headed into KH to catch Ferry. Talk about :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: !! Heard SO many good tunes!! That "Dark Side of the Moon" track OWNS, and he also dropped a sick ass techno track that totally sounded like a Mauro production at 2:45 but no one could ID it. But man, was it HOT!!!

3:40- Nu-NRG go on. I swear, every time I see them, I am torn between 'being responsible' and taking pictures, or cutting loose & dancing up a storm. Having been told by Arturo that they've been playing 'Take your Air' on their N. American dates ever since that last time they were here, I went thru great efforts to get my camcorder inside. Since 2 people at the last Viva appearance recorded video of that song, but both cut off BEFORE the breakdown, I was determined to get it right. This was gonna be a 'responsible' night. After taking video clips throughout their set, my arm was getting really tired, and time was running out. Finally asked Vince if he would tape the song for me, should it come on, so I could dance a little. Alas, that time never came.... :nervous: :sadgreen: At least I got "THe Eternal" and "For An Angel" recorded. (Does anyone know how to transfer this to computer?) After they were done, went to do more meet & greet with them in the hallway, as condensation dripped on Guiseppi's head.

After that buzzkill, my feet were protesting- wearing flip flops the night b4 was a bad idea, and it was taking its toll that night. Didn't have the energy to see a minute of Deep Dish even. Somehow made it to my car and crawled into bed.

Glad to hear everyone had fun- hope all u outta towners come back soon.

And Arturo- the next time Nu-NRG comes to TO, make sure they leave enough time to come over for a BBQ- Guiseppi would enjoy that very much. ;)
