NuNRG dont play the entire track, I think they only play the first minute of it or so. Hope that helps :)

Ooo, thanks a lot , makes sense now, but geez doesnt even sound anything as the orginal...

i heard the intro very diffrent, from the orginal theme from the movie.

Hey i saw you, a little far away from me, but it looked like you werent having a ball, but tired, sorry didnt intro myself... i was too ing high.

Between the coughing and being constantly bumped into and the rain falling from the ceiling and not getting enough sleep the previous night, I wasn't too happy a camper between midnight and 4am. Once things thinned out a bit and I was able to track down people I knew and I was too tired to feel tired, I enjoyed things a lot more, although I might not have been able to show it because I was still too busy coughing. :tongue3

Great shot of DJ Ampz!

Well after some much needed rest, time for my review of the night!

First and foremost, congrats to Guv for the awesome organisation of the event! I went into the place scared stiff about overcrowding but i've got to hand it to them, it was much much better than i expected, and the traffic flow was monitored at all times which was great.

DJs were awesome, nice to see Sander again (up close this time - for some reason i was convinced he had longer hair and failed to recognise him when he came on).
Mark Oliver was awesome as usual.
Deep Dish: OMG! Either i've never listened to any set of theirs properly before or they played a totally sick set!
Ferry: As always very good, even though (and i think someone pointed this out earlier in the thread) this set sounded very very much like his nature one set. Didn't stay the whole time for him though, the KH was a boiling pot.
Nu-Nrg: for my first time seeing them, i have to say i was well impressed. Their live PA was  jaw dropping.
Infusion: Managed to catch part of their set, what i heard sounded really good but sadly i didn't stay long enough to be able to give a proper opinion, it was just too damn hot in there.

The crowd was awesome as always. So nice to see all my TA friends after being gone for this long! Shouts to all i met/saw again that night and special shouts to my lovely boyfriend loconet :D, my partner in crime tordan, steve (man did we all spend 4+ hours together that night???), chanoa for being gracious enough to lend us her boyfriend all that time :p, and Indy for making it all the way from NYC! :D

See ya's at the next big one (Armiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnn :D)

i have to say i felt so weird being at labour of love, prolly since i was away for so long, or maybe because i was being molested by jet lag...

either way, i had a lot of fun in charlies, where i basically spent the whole night... the vibe in that room was insane, and i didnt even wanna think about venturing out to the other rooms... deep groove, i always love hearing your sets, you create such a wicked groove, amazing ;)! and mossey too, sweet dude :)...

it was cool seeing all of TAs at one spot again, i kinda missed that over there, all the familiar faces, the little chats here and there, bumping into people you haven't seen in a while, etc...

so yeah, it's good to be back in the midst of it all!

Indy.. too bad ya didnt get to meet me (I mean meet ya..). I do recall meeting up w/the dude wearing a black "NYTA" shirt & the other girl beside him.

Glad to hear ya had fun.. I sure as hell did!

Ok, so just incase some of you didnt meet me, you definitely saw me if you were in Guv during Sanders set. I was the guy standing at the head of the stage behind Sander dancing my ass off.

Yea so I got pwned by Sander... I was dancing so hard I reaggrivated my badly sprained ankle and had to leave early, but I dont care cause Sander was all I needed.

Having been to the past two Labour of Love events this one ranked right up there with them as amazing and run a lot better than the previous two. The lineups outside were massive, the music lineup was amazing. When we got inside we decided to wander around and check the place out and see the different rooms.. Skybar was to be our home for the night, except during Ferry Corsten's set. Made it down to the Kool Haus to enjoy Mark Oliver laying down some great tunes as always as everyone anticipated Ferry... long story short, Ferry in killed it!!! I can't wait for a friend to post a setlist, I'm sure he got most of it. The highlight was hearing Punk and Rock Your Body Rock back to back (at least I think it was back to back).. I'm not much of a trainspotter for new tunes, so hearing two wicked ones like that was great. After a while we headed back to the Skybar to stay put for the night.. got there for the end of Freq Nasty's set which was awesome. Was VERY suprised hearing Icey and not hearing any cheese - it's funny how everyone says "such and such a dj sucks" but they havn't heard anything recent from them. He layed down some awesome tracks, and was very animated behind the decks having fun. Madame Mercury and DJ Whatt were the same way.. we left just before they finished. I was a bit disappointed at first to not have heard Infusion or Deep Dish, but later realized they'll be back - it was awesome hanging out on the skybar with new and old friends and people I haven't seen in over a year.

oh and we saw the Big Show from WWE, or maybe just bigfoot.. or maybe he's the same person...

runningman
Sander K played his best set that i've heard and Deep Dish hammered it out with some huge tracks. Never went to the KH couldn't leave the GUV.
