Well you're right on one thing, it doesn't sound too much like the original. However, it is a rework of the DJ Jan & Christophe Chantzis Mix of Theme from Norefjell as someone already said. |

I think the CD is pretty good. He introduces new things like in Heroes. I havent heard any breaks like that in Tiesto songs before. Breda 4pm is the worst tracks of the CD. I really like the (I dont what it is called in English) pam in Ancient History. Traffic is not one of my favorite songs, but the next track Euphoria is really good. I like the speed and the tune. Athena has the famous and beautiful Tiesto style and therefore the best track on the CD for me. Olympic Flame is also very good, but is not as good as Athena in my opinion. There has been enough discussions about Lethal Industry and I have to admit it's not one of his best productions! Coming Home is ok, I love the tune, but it's not mindblowing. Victorious is unbelievably, it makes me wanna go to a party.
I think that all tracks on the CD are dancefloorkillers. Tracks to go out of your mind. Tracks where your feet can't stop moving.
Best track: Athena
Worst: Breda 4pm (Traffic and Lethal Industry are not my favs either)
The CD is worth buying. They are not asking the price of a normal CD, they are asking what the CD is worth. |

As far as my theory goes about Tiesto.... He used to produce really brilliant trancetracks...as well under aliases like Allure or Stray Dog or together with others like in the Kamaya Painters. Now EVERYTHING is Tiesto and Tiesto produces a lot of cd's and tracks, I used to wait patiently for the new Universal Religion or Magik mixes to come out.
Nowadays: Get a free special Tiesto-cd with a cellphone-subscribe, Tiesto on a can of cola, Tiesto on the TMF Awards (You might know TMF, seeing you're from Belgium), free Tiesto t-shirts, Tiesto as a ringtone..... It's ridiculous! |

noob to some of us means people that have been here less than a 1.5 yrs. Who cares if people believe something is mixed, people still believe that Oakenfold's resident CD was mixed live. |
