Well now.
I'm making a thread for this because the time for jokes has come to an end.
A little while ago I just got into a car crash. I made a lane pass at about 5-10 MPH over, and the road was wet. I went up onto a median and smashed right into a tree.
If I hadn't been wearing my seat belt, I probably wouldn't be typing this right now.
My car is probably totaled.
I remember hitting then losing consciousness for about a fraction of a second.
This was some ed up ...but I still live...
...my only regrets are my partying with you guys will be serious dampered. :(
...but at least I'm still here.
And pilled up, and with good reason. My chest hurts like you wouldn't believe, and having an airbag hit you in the face ain't nice either.
*EDIT* And just for the record, I was 100% sober when this happened, but I am still at fault. I made the pass too fast and on unsafe road conditions. :( |

Thanks, Ben. On top of this, I got ticketed by the cops, but she was cool and told me to go to court and plead not guilty, that it should be thrown out since it was an accident, and thankfully, there were no other cars involved.
I got out of the car on my own and was dizzy. I tried shaking the cobwebs out of my head, and realized I was really fortunate, and smart enough to always wear my seat belt. |

did you get a ticket for "Careless driving" i hate those... totally unfair wtf. it wwas not even your fault..

I broke a transmission in my car in a very stupid way...
I'll be around $2000 behind, now I use a bike HAHAHAHAHA |

Thank you, my friend. And yes, I got the ticket. It was called "Failure to use due care." But the cop was cool with me and told me to fight it and I'd win. I hope she was being sincere with me.
Keep in mind until now I've never been in a wreck. I've bumped a couple of cars and backed into a tree and got next to no damage, but this was way more serious. |

| I texted Felipe to let him know what happened. He told me his DSL is down, but he was very supportive over the phone after I got out of the hospital. When you read this, gracias hermano. :) But I am in so much pain right now. Even V isn't calming it down. And the nurse told me the pain will get worse as days go by. |

No Problem Bro.. Im on Dial-Up now, and well, glad your home... good thing is, your ok, nothing serious happened to you.. and sucks about the pain broo :( |

man, I'm so sorry to hear this... I've been in a few minor (fender-bender) accidents myself, and know how big of a headache it is dealing with insurance/court/all that stuff, I just thank god I've never been hurt in one of them... The good thing is though, regardless of how much it hurts now, or how big a hassle everything may be, you're ALIVE, and still have your friends to support you :)
