| James Holden spins incredible sets. Other than that, the only name that wasn't already mentioned is Satoshi Tomiie. He tends to play deep, dark, tribal and prog house. Love his sets. Nubreed 006 in particular. |

| I'm surprised no one has mentioned Dave Seaman yet. Although, other than his latest Rennisance effort, I haven't heard much from him our about him lately. I would also suggest Nick Warren, but he's kind of in the same boat. |

| Most of the guys mentioned in this thread are quite unique.. My favorites would have to be Sander K, Nick Warren and John Digweed.. |

Hernan Cattaneo <---- The most refreshing prog dj nowadays
Mathew Dekay
Way Out West <-- Strange no one has metioned them
James Holden (of course)
Sander K and James Zabiela are essentialy boring for me, you can avoid the first half of their sets cuz it's always filled with annoying sounds, and it's sooo slow...
Diggers is nice sometimes... |

Not really as they're incredibly underrated. I would go further and say Jody Wisternoff. For proof, see some of the sets @ www.hybridized.org |

If you call spitting out mediocre Reason tunes at a rate faster than explosive diarrhea 'EXTREMELY unique', then yes.
As a DJ, there are probably hundreds of others spinning exactly what he does, since that sound of his seem to be the popular thing right now.. Or is that 'unique' too? |

| MATTHEW DEKAY. Saw him last weekend here in Sydney and he has to be one of the most incredible dj's I have ever seen. Such a fresh and unique style and had to be one of, if not the best sets I have ever heard. He came back to join us for a little after party we had at my friends place and we had a good chat and laugh with him! |

I saw Hernan Cattaneo for the second time last night and find his style to be very unique and refreshing.
I wonder if there are other dj's out there like him that I'm missing out on.
You "must" check out Martin Garcia, i belive he and Hernan are friends. Martin is so good it hurts, i cant understand where he find all the amazing tracks he play. Hernan is very good, but Martin Garcia is even better. |

i wouldnt call nick warren a good mixer, and he doesnt have any style at all, he just plays big tunes
and most of the DJs mentioned in this thread have played the same tunes this summer, which is hardly unique
and please dont bring ozgur can into this, he is good but you cant really call him unique |
