So I saw on this commercial that people can get a napster card, with the purchase of whatever the hell it was they were advertising (I've almost completely removed all my senses when it comes to commercials). So what is this? Is Napster up and running again? They didn't explain anything, but I would like to know if anyone has used it or what the deal is.

theyve been up for quite awhile. basically you just pay for your music now, so its legal..

Does it actually have any decent music on it for a change?

This is what deters me from these services, they expect you to pay for it, and then give u a selection of music. ARGHARHGH :)

memories...napster was great back in 2000

i guess it was great back then .. if you subtract those times when you couldn't connect, because there were too many users online.. i guess that is what you get when you try to connect 10000 users on ONE server...

:nervous: :nervous:

other than that, there were some good stuff people had ..

tell me the truth .. what were people REALLY using in 2000 .. audiogalaxy or napster? or what was that other one?.. i think it was scourExchange??

napster ruled all file sharing during 99/00.

actually, i think napster ruled 99, but when scourExchange came out like early 2000, everyone was jumping that bandwagon, because it was one of the firsts to share something outside of mp3s .. it was video files and pics, and i think exes too i believe .. not sure..

Napster all the way, that was such an amazing way for me to keep up to date on my trance, it's so hard now!

Echosystm asked a good question, are they going to have the same availablility of music, or is there going to be no-one on this thing for anyone to share with?

Anyone know how much they charge?
