it dosent really matter if he hits #1 in a meaningless poll. DJ Mag is obviously based on popularity rather than talent. You dont really need a magazine to print out hes number one if hes number one to you right? Besides, what about other DJs that deserve 2,3,4,5 place but are stuck in 20s and 30s or farther down.
IMO JZ has taken #1 ever since i heard his stuff in 2002. Im not going to go by some poll to make it a fact.

anyways glad you guys had a blast.. Looks like it by Sashas review, which makes me even more dissapointed i missed it. Oh well, do come back to Texas this year James..:)

i don't thinks there is such thing as a #1 DJ.
All their styles and the way they spin are different.
You might consider a group of the best DJs or something,
but you can't rank them from one-to-ten.

Well, that's my opinion. All those polls are measured by popularity
and that does not conclude in which is the most talented or most groovy DJ of the year...

yeah its all preference. I have alot of #1 djs in various genres..some I value more for producing or putting on a good show, their character or whatever the case may be. Though I hold these guys to higher expectations and would undoubtedly go out of my way to see em, I couldnt hold anyone of them better than the other as long as they keep up the good work. Everyone knows Im partial to pvd, but that is only because the 6 times I have gone and seen him, he's never let me down. I have a feeling some of the other talent that spundae brought like armin and james zabiela would be the same way...but I have to see em more than once :) but I know I would pay to see em again.

can't its 21+ (club fur)

Last year when glow was hosted @ insomnia it was 18+. I saw Johan Gielen. Same day when Dj Tiesticle was in Houston

o well

Now Im really ing pissed. Armin van buuren will be @ club glow and I cant go because of the age limit:whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: THE WORLD

well, at least you got lucky to see him at Gatsby which was also 21+ to my knowledge. Being a part of spundae sure has its benefits...(will never forget getting to meet pvd for a minute) lol

that sucks man..hopefully he'll come back to texas soon (Dallas and Austin need to bring him...get with it already!! :p )
