Juan Atkins - Clear; should also be mentioned because although its not actually a particularly great tune, it was the first electronic track of any sort. |

Ok yes I agree on your other 2 no's BUT this one I absolutely disagree. Goa/Psy-Trance came from drugged up rock stars making vacations to Goa, India back in the day and the genre was born there. |

| No offense but you obviously have very limited knowledge of the history of EDM if you think Ferry Corsten's "Out Of The Blue" or Armin van Buuren's "A State Of Trance" was more influential than Renaissance: The Mix Collection, Leftism, Northern Exposure 1, Tranceport or GU013. |

It's Cybotron - Clear, it sounds better than most produced today, and it ISN'T the first electronic track of any sort.
Greatest moments: When Saunderson, Atkins, and May shook hands with each other. When Bangalter decided to invent french house. When Aphrodite & Mickey Finn invented Jump-Up, When Dr. Dre invented G-Funk, you know stuff that wasn't based so much on popularity as on creativity and inventiveness. |

I NEVER said ANYTHING about Renaissance: The Mix Collection, Leftism, Northern Exposure 1, Tranceport or GU013 NOT being influential, I was simply starting the list out and having other people chime in.
