what do people think about this? i just can't believe that i'm sitting here listening to the smartest men in their field talk about how space aliens gave the world the torah? i don't know about that...

so what do you people know or think about this stuff? divinity? space aliens? coincidence? statistical anomally?

discuss...

It sounds just as plausible as most other bible-related explanations Ive heard. Catholic schooling for 12 years showed me alot of them

im studying superstition and paranormal belief, there are people everywhere that believe a lot. nothing really surprises me now.

If you read up on Sumerian and Babylonian history it all makes much more sense.

We humans are about as territorial and as aggressive as our primate ancestors. We need something to believe in simply to keep our primitive and animalistic behavior in check.

and our anxiety level in check.

we fear less when we believe in an ultimate power.

Also, people need a personal god to solve personal crises....

Pure, uncut bull. The reality of them is that using the exact same method, you can find codes in any text, because statistically there are trillions of possible combinations, so chances are very very good that sooner or later you're going to come up with something that appears remarkable. Multiple assassinations and other historical events were predicted with amazing detail in Moby Dick and War and Peace (go google it).

You'd think if that these were really secret predictions given to us by such a powerful force, such as aliens who have conquered the trivial challenge of intergalactic space travel, or an omnipotent God, that these "codes" would follow some recognizable pattern instead of being random jarble.

The History channel seems to drop these shock shows for ratings these days - I guess all that WWII footage has to run out some time.

nah, they just show it all again, but in color now....is kinda erie seeing WWII in color...I just always pictured it as a dull grey, destructive war.

Think that's weird? Try proving that the Egyptian pyramids weren't power plants.

The Northern Shaft served as a conduit, or a waveguide, and its original metal lining--which passed with extreme precision through the pyramid from the outside--served to channel a microwave signal into the King's Chamber. The microwave signal that flowed through this waveguide may have been the same signal that we know today is created by the atomic hydrogen that fills the universe and that is constantly bombarding the Earth. This microwave signal probably was reflected off the outside face of the pyramid, then focused down the Northern Shaft. Traveling through the King's Chamber and passing through a crystal box amplifier located in its path, the input signal increased in power as it interacted with the highly energized hydrogen atoms inside the resonating box amplifier and chamber. This interaction forced the electrons back to their natural "ground state." In turn, the hydrogen atoms released a packet of energy of the same type and frequency as the input signal. This "stimulated emission" was entrained with the input signal and followed the same path.

The process built exponentially--occurring trillions of times over. What entered the chamber as a low energy signal became a collimated (parallel) beam of immense power as it was collected in a microwave receiver housed in the south wall of the King's Chamber and was then directed through the metal-lined Southern Shaft to the outside of the pyramid. This tightly collimated beam was the reason for all the science, technology, craftsmanship, and untold hours of work that went into designing, testing, and building the Giza power plant. The ancient Egyptians had a need for this energy: It was most likely used for the same reasons we would use it today--to power machines and appliances. We know from examining Egyptian stone artifacts that ancient craftspeople had to have created them using machinery and tools that needed electricity to run. However, the means by which they distributed the energy produced by the Giza power plant may have been a very different process from any we use today.

I dont belive in nothen & i aint no animal or primitive. I flush the toilet like any monkey does. & who are you calling aggressive? :whip: :whip: :whip: take that facking comment back! :stongue: :haha: :stongue: :stongue:

Some people just take the easy way out. They need a reason for something they do not understand. If Life is more complicated than what the brain can handle, it makes up easy solutions. These solutions can be spiritual, supernatural, science fiction or religious.

"I don't know what is the meaning of life so the aliens must have done it!".

Cute. So basically you're telling me that ancient Egyptians had working electrical devices and yet we haven't found a single trace of said devices in all the years we've been digging around that place?

Steel and iron wear down over time. Any instances of high/delicate technology from a culture that old would have either surely disintegrated by now, or have been consumed by other cultures over the years. But the infrastructure is still there. It's pretty impressive when you think about it.

Hell, we can barely build a bridge or a sports arena that lasts more than half a century without requiring maintenance.
