| Small arms rounds? Ya what about the picture, would you feel safe if a small group of right wing nazi's took over the military and you didn't have those? tell me would you feel safe if nazis took over the military and all the people had were kitchen knives? Or do you live in a dream world and expect none of this to happen, just like the people in countries you have had to suffer under dictatorial regiemes that have systematiclly slaughtered millions. |

Well I gues judging form the ractions here, you can't just blame Bush... the country (USA) seems to be full of Trigger-Happy mofos, Who in order to "feel safe" haveto have M16 at home and a 9mm under theyr pillow. :nervous:
And also if you realy have the gusns for protection from the government well... its time you took the government down, put the guns to a good use and overthrow the Bush party.;) its about time.:D |

What are you speaking about, Nazis taking over the government and military, I doubt that we are the one's in a dream world. Guns make you safer right, guess that is why Iraq is so safe considering how many people have at least one firearm:rolleyes:
If we get to the point where Nazis are taking over the government then the least of the issues are having guns or no guns. Its not guns that make you safe it's respect for decency, law and order something criminals don't have, including many of these Nazi groups. |

If nazi's or another extremist group take over the government what makes you think that getting guns to defend yourself is not a question? guess what! it is human nature to be violent decency law and order don't last. What do firearms have to do with people being killed. Sub-saharan africa before coloniolization was the most backward place on earth, with cannabilism and sacrifcing and they never had guns. Read your history guns have nothing to do with how violent people are.

:stongue: :stongue: :stongue: You just emphasized my point in your own statement you argued earlier about guns and feeling safe, then you say what do they have to do with people being killed, my argument is that it is not the gun that is the problem but the personal responsiblity of the person who has that weapon that is the issue. If you are in a society where you need a firearm to feel safe then it should tell you something about that society.
You tell me to read my history guns have nothing to do with how violent people are, the History Channel has a series on firearms and its history you should try watching it sometime before making such statements. Do you think it is a coincidence that firearms evolved over the centuries. From personal firearms, cannons, to battleships, to fighter jets man has always sought the biggest and deadliest weapon technology, I wonder why:conf:. |
