| quote: | Having released a slew of critically acclaimed albums from the likes of James Zabiela and Hernan Cattaneo, in addition to running successful parties at Pacha in Ibiza, and events like this summer's 'Wild In The Country', Renaissance have had an impressive year thus far and show no signs of fatigue as the launch of Sander Kleinenberg's follow up to last year's 'This Is Everybody' looms around the corner.
'This Is Everybody Too' is set over two discs, and features forthcoming and current classics such as Tiefschwarz's massive re-rub of Spektrum's 'Kinda New', the anthemic 'Do To You In 82' from Infusion, in addition to forthcoming material from Junior Boys and Deepsky. In addition to this, Sander Kleinenberg includes two new original productions of his own. Both future club smashes, 'The Right Time' ends the first disc, and the massive future single 'The Fruit', taken from his own Little Mountain imprint is featured on the second disc.
The 'Everybody' brand grew out of Sander's yearning to take club land back to it's roots, and away from the politics sub-genre minutia that were unfortunate side effects of dance music's rapid ascension in the latter half of the 1990s. Sander says that "Going out is really about celebrating life, and having a good time. That's what Everybody is all about - celebrating life". It's a pretty simple outlook, and a damn healthy one for a culture that perhaps began to take itself too seriously.
Sander is taking Everybody around the globe and to the world's finest clubs, with a series of launch parties planned for the album, where Sander will most likely be continuing his pioneering work with the new Pioneer DVJ-X1. The first piece of equipment to allow the DJ to manipulate both audio and video in the mix, allowing DJs like Sander and James Zabiela, who's also been running the deck through it's paces, to be more experimental than ever, creating an interactive and memorable experience which extends beyond the normal idea of what a DJ set entails.
With the usual Renaissance production quality, and Sander's inspiration once again prevalent right throughout the CD, from the cover right through to it's content and design, 'This Is Everybody Too' looks not only to equal it's predecessor but surpass it in many ways, and bringing to us yet another chapter in the ongoing Renaissance movement.

I totally love the first set of discs SK released last year... Quality stuff, for sure. I can't wait to hear these ones! :D I know I'll get flamed for this, but I still think SKs E mix from 2003 is better than his 2001... Call me crazy, I feel it has more flow to it?
In any case, Boa, you've got "Work to Do" :clown: |
