what, are you 21, 22 years old... how come you havent been to any events i mean, you live in LA, and you're old enough to get into whatever you want, so when some DJ comes and spins in town, how come you dont check out the events????
about headphones etc.... i would say by some DJing / Producing / Monitoring headphones, becaues they have a really long cord and great sound quality... i can stretch my cord somewhere like 25 feet, meaning i can get anywhere in the room and still be listening. |

I have the Logitech z560s for speakers, but I prefer the Sennheiser HD280 Pros because of the flatter frequency response. Plus the cable is pretty long, so it allows for a decent range of movement.
Oh yeah, I also like the headphones because they will block out a large amount of background sounds. Don't need to turn up the volume very high to make it just me and the music. |

Speakers no mater what

You cant get the bass or any real felling in headphones no mater how expensive they are. :) |

Headphones let you hear more of the soundscape. I don't know why.
But speakers are still great to have. |

An explanation might be that my headphones are approx. $175 and my stereo/speakers are from the 1970's. ;) |

I prefer speakers if I get the choice, I like the music to be all around me, be able to feel it, and not have the feeling of something round my head or in my ears.
Headphones are good for going out with my MD player, listening when family's asleep, etc. |

Speakers all the way... Headphones when it gets a lil too late for music (rare tho)
I use the Logitech z5300.. da shiznit heh:rolleyes: Only 200 bucks, great value.

Depends on the situation,
For exaple: I prefer to hear quality chill-trance through my headphones. But when it comes to hard styles or progressive, it just sounds better through my speakers |
