->armins sets over the last 2 1/2 months have been ,dare I say,horriable! the trance hes playing , imo, is boring generic tunes. example : armins ibiza set. Poor programming, bad mixxing (off key), just boring. I bet he plays adagio for strings and intruder again :whip: :whip:
->about four months ago i thought markus was on the verge of doing something big but now I feel hes just lost it . Hes not moving forward inhis sound and it stuck in this "markus schulz sound" i.e dark sound w/ that bouncy ball effect . IMO the sound is gettin old fast. it all sounds the same to me. Boring.
-->most importantly this is at vision, the diriest club in chicago. with the worst staff. WTF is up with having all these events there! this isnt wisconsin for gods sake, we have more than one club in the city!!
I think I might opt out and save my money for a flight to see PVD in LA during Halloween. |

its looks like your not fimilar with the nightclub scene in Chicago if you beleive Vision is clean or a top club by any standards. I was being kind by saying it was dirty. Do you work for vision!:tongue3
Armins favorite club....:stongue: ....ummm maybe because this is the only place hes been booked to play at when he is in Chicago. You should be smarter not to fall for that sh!t. I would love to see if he made the same comment after playing elsewhere.

personally ive never had a problem with vision.
what is the definition of a clean club. i dont think any clubs stay clean throughout the night and your bound to find something that the staff missed. |

i personally wouldn't say vision is my favorite venues
i'd put house of blues way up there....i definatly feel the bass and the people vibin'/jumpin up and down on the dance floor at HOB.
and i also thought the aragon ballroom was great (when i saw oakenfold)...
but vision is cool 'cause there's plenty of places where you and a group of people (uh hmmm...CTA's) can find a lil niche and just collectively vibe together. |

| i honestly couldn't see armin play at any other venue in chicago than vision. the only other venues that could hold the type of crowd that armin can bring are theatres (HOB, riv, congress, etc..), all of which are MUCH dirtier than vision and are far inferior when it comes to visuals and sound. not to mention that they are all 18+. what'd you have in mind?? |

ur talking about global dj broadcast. Its a 4 hour show every sunday night at 10pm eastern time. He starts out with an hour of essentials, then an hour in the mix, then two guests usually. check out tigerclaws post in music discussion every sunday, ort go to globaldjbroadcast.com
and I have got a lil tired of markus on gdjb, he still gets me most weekends, but when he played in LA...wow, stunning, he is on his game. |

| I don't think Vision is "dirty", though the crowd can be a bit slimy, but I don't like it much. The layout is annoying and the decor is haphazard and tacky in places. Transit would be better except for their soundsystem is wack. Haven't been to Sound Bar so I can't judge. Crobar, atmosphere is better IMO (I like being in one big room), but system is directed too much toward the small dancefloor area. I wouldn't mind checking Armin at a HOB type venue--might work at Zentra too actually. |

zentra? if i remember correctly (i haven't been there in a loooonng time) i doubt that zentra could sustain a crowd the size that armin would bring in.... |
