heh. Yea When dave woudl go get drinks I would stand in his spot up fornt so no one would take it. Then he left I took over. Well I took over after I pushed a few people out da way. I always gotta get front row and stick my hand in every picture. |

I thought it was a pretty good night. I have to agree with everyone that Markus' set was incredible, almost better than armins. I never knew that guy was that good.
it was also nice to meet everyone, i barely remember any names, but im sure ill see them again. |

The night was a first for me. Schulz's passion for music supprised me (Bakke & Ljungqvist - Fanatic):disbelief , and AVB's track selection and enthusiasm both moved me, with his own classic production--Communication, Blue Fear and he refreshed my compassion with the sounds of now--Enmass-CQ, Active Sight-Out of our Lives (oooooh what trancers!)
It was rellly great. CHeers to everyone who stayed late and relly understood the night's magical melodies and driving, confident rhythms. Without your guys' enthusiasm and compassion, the night wouldn't have been nearly as special. :cool: |

Armin started off with Synergy - Hello Strings. WOW! I love that track...
Markus played his staple of tracks, including his Taurus remix as well as Swing to Harmony.
I liked Markus' set a lot - very danceable. :toocool:
I have to say I'm not liking the new venue. The dance floor is smaller than Circus, and man the bathroom situation is horrid. Security was ok, they were paying attention but weren't being a-holes in general. The worst part is the sound system - it definitely needs some work. The bass was great but the mids/highs were really harsh. Made the vocal tracks sound pretty bad, unfortunately.
I *do* like the outdoor patio area. Very nice, very open. They definitely need more seats. It was also nice that they were piping the music from the main dance floor out onto the patio area.
Overall an ok night for me - some lamer just totally THREW UP in the middle of the dance floor. Killed the vibe for me the rest of the night :( |
