| Assuming some TAs out there use either of these. I would like to know which is better. I'm currently trying out contact lenses. The change from glasses to contacts was because the glasses bothered my ears to the point that I would get headaches. But I'm pretty sure there are some bad side effects in using contacts. But so far(2 weeks) no complaints. |

I wish I could afford either :p
I used to wear contacts and they were nice, though they irritate your eyes sometimes. They're also more expensive... |

| i find that contacts correct my vision better than glasses. and my glasses do hurt my ears as well. plus i cant wear sunglasses with them, which matters cause i cant drive without sunglasses when it is too sunny. i suppose contacts definitely are more expensive (it's like $200 a year for me) but there are worse things you could spend $200 on... sight is generally worth the cost. |

Yeah. But money is not an issue, for me that is. I'm willing to pay extra for comfort.
And I'm sorry you can't afford them. :) |

BOTH! That is what I do.
Glasses make one look older, more mature and more serious - great for business and negotation.
Contacts are uber-good for the party scene - get the dailies (focus dailies is what I wear) and keep and extra pair in your pocket when you party, and extra set in your glove box, and extra set in your desk @ work, etc, and you'll always have fresh, clear, comfortable eyes. |

| I wear both. I usually wear glasses around the house just to air out the cornea and keep it healthy. There's a lot of sites on the internet where you can buy contacts quite cheaply. I use Bausch and Lomb Soflens 66 toric lenses, they're 66% water and I can't feel them when they're in. Also contacts don't encroach on your field of vision like spectacle frames, which is handy for stuff like playing pool. |
